Promo Writer/Producer, Marketing & Creative - Los Angeles, CA
VENN is seeking a Writer/Producer to create marketing campaigns for the VENN brand and our programming. This position will collaborate with internal and external creative teams to deliver .breakthrough creative and execute on VENN objectives
Responsibilities
Write and produce short form/promo content for use across broadcast, web, digital, social, etc.
Responsible for leading and executing ideas and concepts that are relevant, innovative, and groundbreaking/envelope pushing
Collaborate with internal and external creative teams to deliver stellar creative, managing the editorial process from start to finish
Cultivate strong cross-functional relationships, working with all company stakeholders to achieve goals
Pitch ideas and campaigns, participate in brainstorm meetings
Shoot and direct show talent / voice-over talent
Ability to flex across creative projects as needed
Success Looks Like:
Excellent creative across all mediums that build excitement for VENN and ultimately achieve business and project objectives
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities/Qualifications
Understanding of promo editorial process from start to finish - pre-production, production, and post-production
Working knowledge of editing systems and workflows
Experience supervising editing sessions, voice-over sessions
Understanding of gaming and streaming landscape, pop culture trends
Strong written and storytelling skills
Ability to manage multiple projects with tight deadlines
Ability to creatively problem solve
Working knowledge of Adobe Suite & Google apps
Scheduling and budgeting is a plus
Education (HS Diploma, BA, BS, MA, MS, J.D.,Ph.D.): Bachelor’s degree
Minimum years of related work experience: 5+ years experience as writer/producer for entertainment company or creative agency
